Long weekend from May 20 to 23
Because May 23 is a national holiday and my housemate, Momo is going to leave Calgary in one month, my hostmother planed to go camping with her. That was on the weekend. On Friday, luckily I didn't have school. I just stayed at home. Soon after my housemate came home, we left home for the camping site. That site was same as last year. But many things were different. Last year, I went there few days after I arrived in Calgary. In addition, we borrowed a family camping place, but this year, we used individual sites and only 3 familes joined except us. That was great experience, we made hotdogs and hamburgers with fire and played in the beach of Sylvan Lake.
For the other students, that was first time to go camping. They were excited. Even though it was cold, we went into water. As usual(maybe), Momo was thrown into the water. Last year, we threw another Korean female student into water. That must be good experience for her. I believe so.
I think camping style in Canada is totally different from Japanese.
I really recommend my friends to going camping in Canada, if they can, with my hostfamilies.

a0025766_12411433.jpgOne of my friend are going back to Tiwan. She was a friend of mine and my ex-classmate. I met her roommate first and she came to our school. She was nice to me and I had very good time with her. I wanna meet her again.
For last time, we went Korean restaurant. My friends and I talked a lot about what happend, what we did and what we are going to do. Anyway we talked a lot. After that, we went her apartment and we saw off her.
Then I went another friend's apartment with two of my friends. There were 5 people in his apartment. We talked and drank little bit. We stayed there until the next morning. About 1 or 2, I don't rememebr actually but, one of them got phone and the friend's of hers told that there was a aurora(people sometimes call it a northern lights). That was fabulous!!! I heard that another friend said he saw a aurora in Calgary. I didn't believe it. However, I can believe him now, because I saw it!!!!!!

Monday May 2
Today the second week of my new school started. That's just same as last week and I spent most time for fun.
After class I just went back to my house because I don't have a very close friend who would go somewhere with me except Ryosuke. He was absent today. In the way to home I went the public library to get the article in Nature about dinosaurs, but I couldn't find latest one. After that, I didn't feel like just going back, so I went a cafe and studyed there for about 2 and half hour. When I bought a coffee, a salesclerk suddenly said 'Arigatou'. I was surprised. She spoke Japanese!! Because one Japanese woman was working there and that salesclark guessed I am Japanese, she said it. That never happens in Japan. It could be rude. However, it's kind of usual in Canada. Many of shop clarks are very friendly and kind in the good way. I like it. I wanna be a regular visiter of that coffee.
